Shake it out! Kids and their caregivers are invited to join professional musicians, dancers, and storytellers including Michael Wimberly and Dyane Harvey-Salaam at playgrounds around Central Park for lively music and movement activities inspired by Africa and the African diaspora. Sandbox Dance Programs are designed for children between the ages of 3 and 8 and are co-presented with the Central Park Conservancy.

Museum for African Art education programs are supported in part by grants from the Cultural Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the May and Samuel Rudin Foundation, and Jack Rudin.
