Hosted by Chef Joe Johnson, host of Kids Love Cooking with Chef JJ and the first winner of Bravo's televised cooking competition Rocco's Dinner Party.
All proceeds will support the Youth Ambassadors Internship Program, which unites diverse New York high school students to work with the Museum for one year, providing essential arts and workplace-readiness education along with paid internship experience.
ELA Host Committee:
Emerging Leaders for African Art is a body of young professionals dedicated to bringing awareness and support to the Museum for African Art. Members of ELA hold a vital position in assisting the Museum staff to strategically plan and coordinate key aspects of the institution's outreach activities. ELA members are responsible for meeting fundraising goals and developing and carrying out initiatives that further the mission and work of the Museum.
