Art Workshop: Malagasy Planters
March 9, 20123:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Museum for African Art teaching artist Iandry Randriamandroso will guide participants in creating a windowsill planter in Malagasy fashion. Participants will use brightly colored paint to create geometric designs inspired by techniques from Iandry’s native Madagascar.
This program is co-presented by The Central Park Conservancy. For more information, call 212-860-1370. This program is FREE and no advance registration is necessary. All ages welcome. Space is limited, no afterschool groups please. Participants can drop in anytime between 3:00 and 4:30 pm.
