El Anatsui: Process and Project features Anatsui’s drawings for major sculptures in ceramic and wood, archival photographs of the artist at work in his studio in Nigeria, as well as the artist's sketchbooks, many of which show early designs that presage his famous liquor-bottle top “cloth” sculptures and large scale in situ installations. At the center of the gallery is the monumental installation Peak Project (1999), made of thousands of glittering lids from Peak Milk cans.
